Fast, Easy, Indulgence Tiramisu

Making tiramisu was a dread for me… until I found this recipe! Making the custard was the thing I dislike the most. I have no double boiler, so I had to just stand in front of my oven, and stir the eggs and sugar constantly until they are thicken! But, I can’t resist tiramisu! I love it!!!

So, I tried this recipe and it has been a saver for my feet! LOL.. so easy and fast.. I’ve almost never looked at the original recipe I have no more! Try it for yourself.

All you need are:

3 egg yolks
1/4 cup white sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 small tub of mascarpone cheese
Ladyfingers
1 cup brewed coffee- good quality
1- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
small strainer
1-2 tablespoons coffee liquor, such as bailey or kahlua

In a medium bowl, beat yolks with sugar and vanilla with mixer until smooth and light yellow. Fold in mascarpone cheese into yolk mixture. Set aside.

Arrange the ladyfingers in a pan. The amount of ladyfingers is depend on how big your dish is. I used a 13x9x2 inch pyrex dish, and made 2 layers of ladyfingers. It worked great. Mix the liquor in the brewed coffee. With a spoon, sprinkle the coffee over the ladyfingers until they are almost wet and cover with coffee. Don’t soak them.

Spread half the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers. Make another layer and repeat with remaining ladyfingers, and mascarpone. Put cocoa powder in the small strainer. Tap the side of the strainer over the tiramisu until they are covered as you desire. Cover and chill for at least 1 hour.

Serve! It is the easiest tiramisu recipe I’ve ever made!!

Ps. If you, for some reasons, can’t find mascarpone cheese, here is what you can do:
Blend together 1 tub(16 ounce) of cream cheese, 1/2 cup sour cream, and 1/4 cup of whipping cream until smooth.
