Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes

I recently made this mashed potatoes and had was raved by my hubby. It came out really well, and we could taste the roasted garlic! We tried roasted garlic mashed potatoes before at a friend’s party, and it didn’t taste good. We couldn’t even taste the roasted garlic in it! So, I thought that I would try make one at home.

This is what I do:
3 garlic bulbs of roasted garlic (recipe can be found by clicking the word “roasted garlic”)
5 potatoes, peeled and cut up
1/4 cup milk and more to achieve the consistency you want
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 1/2 tablespoon butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

Mash the roasted garlic until almost smooth. Set aside.

Meanwhile, boil the potatoes. Put some salt in the water while boiling. Cook until tender. Remove from heat, drain. Put potatoes in a big bowl and mash them.

When potatoes all mashed, put in butter and milk. Mix them well. Add in salt and pepper, then parmesan cheese, and lastly, the roasted garlic. Mix them well and beat until your desired consistency, and by adding milk as needed.

Viola!
