Flavorbliss Fried Chicken

Actually, I just tried making this tonight. I used the same ingredients as the Chicken Fried Steak. The result, was a very yummy chicken! My husband said that the chickens taste almost like KFC fried chickens!

So, for you KFC lovers out there, give this recipe a try. It may just surprise you like it did to me!

5-6 pieces medium size chicken drumstick
Buttermilk
pepper
a dash or two garlic salt
a dash or two paprika
a dash of garlic powder
1 cup of flour

Again, I only eyeballed the ingredients.

Start with tenderizing the chicken drumsticks with fork. Poke the drumsticks all over. Rub to marinade drumsticks with garlic salt, paprika, and pepper. Set aside in a bowl.

Pour the buttermilk on drumsticks just enough to cover it. Rub in, and leave them marinating for at least for an hour hour.

Prepare the flour, and mix it well with paprika, garlic salt, garlic powder, and pepper.

When you are done, heat the oil on medium. Put the flour in a big ziplock bag then put the drumsticks in. Shake well to coat.

Place the drumsticks gently in the heated oil. Leave them to cook for 10 minutes on each side or until cook (it’s also depending on how big the drumsticks are, the bigger it is, it may take longer time to cook). Make sure that the heat is on medium, so the they would not burn.

Remove from heat, and enjoy!
